Vanguard Direct Vent Fireplace Systems - See-Thru & Peninsula Direct Vent Fireplaces

Vanguard's See-Thru model is viewable from two sides and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the same fireplace from two rooms.  The Peninsula Direct-Vent Fireplace is equally beautiful when viewed from any of its three sides.

Direct-Vent Fireplaces are ideally suited for today's energy-efficient, tightly constructed homes. The flames burn in a sealed combustion firebox, so the room air does not come in contact with the flames. The sealed firebox requires the fireplace to draw outside air to the fire for combustion. This is accomplished by using a concentric vent system which is actually a pipe within a pipe. Outside air is drawn to the burners through an outer pipe, while exhaust gases are expelled through a smaller pipe. Room air is circulated through passageways around the firebox, then emitted through the top louvers.

VDVF36TPNA Direct Vent Fireplace

Direct-Vent Fireplace Systems Are Easy To Install, Easy To Operate.

A Vanguard Direct-Vent Fireplace gives you the attractiveness of a real wood burning fireplace with the economy, convenience and warmth of direct-vent gas space heating. No expensive chimney is required, so installation is a fraction of the cost of installing a wood burning fireplace. Plus, you'll never find yourself carrying in wet logs or going without heat during an electrical power outage.

A Zero Clearance standard direct-vent fireplace can be installed against or recessed into any outside wall that is accessible to your gas line. The slant back designs also provide flexible horizontal or vertical options. Venting kits are available for most popular applications.

The flames burn in a sealed combustion firebox, so the room air does not come in contact with the flames. The sealed firebox requires the fireplace to draw outside air to the fire for combustion.
