Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss associated with other fireplaces.

This fireplace is tested as a heater. It meets the Department of Energy requirements as a wall furnace tested to both ANSI Z21.86, Z21.88 and CSA 2.32 and CSA 2.33 standards.

Unit includes the following: Millivolt "Remote Ready" valve with built in auto spark ignitor, adjustable flame heat control, exclusive Night Light and On/Off switch, Heat circulating blower with variable speed and thermostatic control, Modulating Thermostat Remote - controls flame, blower and night light, Medallion burner system with double fired ceramic bowl and temperature resistant refractory fiver rocks, Concave polished satin chrome reflective panel, dual receptacle junction box, Bathroom/Bedroom, Bed sitting room approved; suitable for mobile homes.

Up to 26,000 Btu's on high.

50% Flame/Heat adjustment for maximum comfort and efficiency.

Uses 4" x 7" venting systems.
