The simple yet sophisticated design of the clean face frame maximizes the viewing are so the realistic flames and log set are enjoyed to their fullest.  With up to 25,000 Btu's, the HD35 generates plenty of cozy heat and can easily turn down to a lower, comfortable setting.  This direct vent fireplace features fuel saving electronic ignition with battery back up and built-in adjustable flame/heat control, realistic PHAZER log set, rich in color and detail, advanced burner technology with glowing ember bed produces the most realistic flames in the industry.  Convenient pivoting, heat resistant ceramic glass door radiates heat back into the room.  This fireplace is covered under the President's Limited Lifetime Warranty and certified for bathroom, bed sitting rooms and mobile homes.

Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces do not require a chimney and can be vented directly through a wall or roof. The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside while venting to the same outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air, nor competing with other appliances and furnaces for combustion air. Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss associated with other fireplaces. 

This fireplace is tested as a heater.  It meets the Department of Energy requirements as a wall furnace tested to both ANSI Z21.86, Z21.88 and CSA 2.32 and CSA 2.33 standards.
